Now I don't want you to confuse OPERATION GREASE with the silly, little Broadway-musical-movie-thingy featuring that 'John' fella from his little "Welcome Back Kotter" TV show. OPERATION GREASE was around before all of that. 

It all started in 1973 with FRANK CHEVY and the V8.  It exploded on Grand Manan in the summer of 1975 and became quite the phenomenon in the summer of '75 and '76.  We did reunion concerts in 1979 and 1989. To this day, people still ask us about reunion concerts. We're way overdue
